About
Established in 1967, Renmark Netball Club is a proud and growing community club supporting around 300 members of all ages and abilities.
Run entirely by a dedicated volunteer committee, the club delivers a full netball season each year - organising trials, teams, game day operations and events - while creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for players, families and supporters. Volunteers are essential to keeping the club running smoothly both on and off the court.
What roles are avaliable?
Renmark Netball Club is looking for volunteers across a range of areas, from behind-the-scenes administration to hands-on event and game day support. Roles can be tailored to suit different skills, interests and availability—whether you can help a little or take on a larger responsibility.
Volunteer roles include:
- Grants & funding (priority role):
- Writing grant applications and funding submissions
- Assisting with budgets, acquittals and compliance paperwork
- Helping secure funding for facilities and club development
- Sponsorship & partnerships:
- Building relationships with local businesses
- Securing and maintaining club sponsorships
- Supporting community engagement initiatives
- Administration & organisation:
- Assisting with registrations, communications and record keeping
- Supporting general coordination and club operations
- Committee roles (large or small depending on availability)
- Events & fundraising:
- Planning and delivering club events and fundraisers
- Supporting community activities and end-of-season presentations
- Assisting with canteen operations on game days
- General and support roles:
- Team managers, coaches and player support
- Uniforms, trophies and game day logistics
- Maintenance or practical support for club facilities
Time commitment
Volunteer involvement is flexible. Some roles (such as Treasurer or Registrar) require a larger ongoing commitment, while many others - like events, canteen, or uniforms - can be smaller and shared roles.
Volunteers can contribute at a level that suits their availability across the season (typically early in the year through to September).
How to get involved?
Getting involved is easy - whether you’re keen to join the committee, help at events, or support in a smaller role, there’s a place for you. Volunteers are supported with guidance, mentoring and any training needed, so no prior experience is required.
You’ll be part of a friendly, community-focused club where your contribution makes a real difference and helps create a positive experience for players and families.
