Renmark Paringa Council gives notice of its intention to dispose of the building asset known as the “Renmark Soccer Club Changerooms” located at Steve Poutakidis Sports Ground. The disposal is proposed to occur by way of donating the building to the Renmark Olympic Soccer Club (ROSC) for ongoing community sport and recreation use.

In accordance with Council’s Asset Disposal Policy and the principles of transparency and equity, Council is providing the community and any interested parties with the opportunity to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) prior to finalising the disposal.

Purpose of this EOI

The purpose of this EOI process is to identify whether any other community organisations, sporting clubs, not‑for‑profit groups, or interested parties wish to be considered for the future ownership, management, or use of the Renmark Soccer Club Changerooms asset.

If no alternative EOIs are received, Council may proceed with its intention to gift the asset to ROSC.

Requirements for EOI Submissions

EOI submissions should include:

• Name of organisation or applicant
• Contact details
• Proposed purpose or community use of the changerooms
• Benefits to the community arising from your proposal
• Any relevant experience or capacity to manage or maintain the facility
• Any other supporting information

Submissions do not need to be fully detailed business proposals — Council is simply seeking to understand interest and potential alternative community value.

Closing Date

EOIs must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on Thursday 14 May 2026.

Late submissions may not be considered.
