The playgrounds in Bert Dix Park and SS Ellen Park are being replaced in 2024 due to damage sustained during the 2022 flood.

The existing infrastructure will be replaced with designs chosen by the community in late 2023. Council conducted community consultation and asked members of the public to vote on two options for each site and provide additional feedback.
