Renmark Paringa Council is undertaking the renewal of a 550-metre segment of the existing shared use path that connects the townships of Renmark and Paringa, running adjacent to the Sturt Highway.

This project represents Stage 1 of a three-stage program to upgrade this important community asset. Stage 1 will focus on the section of path between Para Street and Tolarno Street in Renmark, improving safety, accessibility, and overall user experience.

The shared use path is a vital link for both residents and visitors, providing a safe and enjoyable route for walking and cycling between the two townships. It plays a key role in connecting people to local natural environments while supporting active lifestyles.

By investing in this renewal, Council aims to enhance connectivity, encourage physical activity, and ensure this well-used trail continues to serve the community for years to come.
