If you are from Loxton Waikerie or Berri Barmera, don’t worry, you’re in the right place!

The councils of Berri Barmera, Loxton Waikerie and Renmark Paringa are creating a joint Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP). This Plan will contain shared actions for all three councils to complete by 2029, as well as actions specific to each council where appropriate. The purpose of a DAIP, as per the State Disability Inclusion Plan 2025-2029, is to create fairer, more inclusive and accessible communities for everyone.

We would like to invite people who live, work and spend time in these three council areas to share their experiences and ideas on what would make their community more inclusive and accessible. A DAIP is an action plan for councils, so please focus on the items that sit within your council’s responsibility (e.g. town planning, waste, local roads, local events/programs, community services).

The joint DAIP will cover the following topics:

  • Inclusive environments and communities
  • Education and employment
  • Personal and community support
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Safety, rights and justice

This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for your time.
