A Regional Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

Renmark Paringa Council, Berri Barmera Council, and the District Council of Loxton Waikerie are working together on a joint Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (the Plan) for the Riverland region.

Councils are required by law to have a plan that sets out how they will make their communities more inclusive and accessible for people with disability.

By working together, we’re creating a united approach that reflects the needs of our whole region - not just individual council areas.

While the survey is hosted on Renmark Paringa Council's platform submissions from any council residents for the below survey will be considered as part of the regional plan.

The Plan will help guide how we:

  • Make public spaces, buildings, and facilities easier for everyone to use
  • Provide clear and accessible information
  • Support participation in community life
  • Make are towns more inclusive and accessible for all walks of life

We want to hear from you

We want to hear from everyone in our community, especially:
🟢 People with disability
🟢 Families and carers
🟢 Disability service providers and advocates

Your ideas will help shape actions that improve access and inclusion across our region.
