The upgrade to the Lock 6 Boat Ramp is officially complete and open to the public.

The project was co-funded by Renmark Paringa Council and the South Australian Boating Facility Advisory Committee (SABFAC).

The local Tonkin office provided design and construction support for the project, while the works were carried out by local contractors Stoney Pinch Quarry and Earthmoving

This was another opportunity for council to work with one of the many skilled local contractors that Renmark Paringa Council has built a positive relationship with.

The works included renewing the surrounding area to serve as a car park for boat ramp users.

We expect this to be a heavily used location for boat users and it will serve the community and visitors well into the future.
